I found out another unfortunate thing about the Nagasaki Program last night. Turns out the Spring Semester goes from early March until late August…about when classes start at UWEC for the Fall semester. Not only is this six months, but it would also mean having a giant break between Christmas until March. What am I gonna do with that time? And then no summer break. It would just be one big string of classes after I get back from Japan. I don’t know what to do about that, it seems like a deal-breaker to me. Not to mention, Bryan is going to Kansai and his semester schedule is the same as UWEC. So, we’d only be in Japan together for 2 of the 6 months.

More bad news: my lights burnt out in my dorm! Might not get new ones until after the weekend. It’s very dark.

Now, for the good news. I got an A on that Clockwork Orange essay I spent a lot of time on earlier this month. Also, I got an A on my Japanese unit test. I’m getting an A in each class now aside from Logic, so things are going well. It upsets me to think that at the end of this semester my GPA will be well over 3.0, the requirement for the Kansai Gaidai Program. I was so close to getting in, and the trip isn’t even until Spring 2009.
