On Wednesday’s Weekly Team Meeting for Vector we brought our knives and carved pumpkins. I called mine “Mr. Shapes Man”. Anyway, I hate the weekly team meetings. They’re required, you don’t get paid for them, they’re boring, and they always go over time. They’re supposed to be an hour long, but this week’s went over a half hour but could have easily gone another half hour if I hadn’t left early. I can carve a pumpkin on my own with my cutco knives. I have them now. I’m really glad I called Waldenbooks back now, too because I really love that place. I’m seeing so many books I want to read while I work there. Basically it’s a lot of fun.
Today got off to a bad start. I set my alarm for 9am for my 10am Philosophy class. However, when I woke up, my alarm was off and it was 11:45. That’s 15 minutes away from my Japanese class. So, I missed my Philosophy class, and I had class in 15 minutes. Then, I remembered that I had to park my car at the curb in front of the dorms the previous night because the lot was full. I ran outside and had 2 tickets already. I drove to class to get it out of the spot and then when I got to class I saw that I had forgot to bring pencils with. Right after Japanese I had a World History quiz. It went alright I think. That was all for classes after that, but basically a bad start. I went back to the dorms and got ready for work, then did homework. Work was good, it’s nice to get off on time. When work was done I went over to Bryan’s dorm and Chris Thompson was over there. We watched Good Morning, Vietnam with Robin Williams. I hadn’t seen it yet, but I rented it from the Library on Thursday. It was really, really funny. I loved it. I also rented… The Shawshank Redemption, One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, Highlander, and Hara Kiri.
