I got to school and met up with Tami and Daniel. Together we went to register for our Alien Residence card so that we won’t have to carry around our passports anymore. A director from the school took us in his car (which was very nice! It had a TV and GPS on the dash. We could see where we were driving and watch the news at the same time. It was great). The whole process took only about 30 minutes. After that we had the rest of the day free. So, we decided to explore more and look for cell phones.
We saw a hawk:
We found a cool river sitting area. You can see some small waterfalls here.
One Tami on the rocks.
In the river there were some carp. They were huge! You can kinda see one here. I dunno, Tami took better photos of these.
We went out to eat with Tami’s mom after walking around for a few hours. She took us out to lunch at a secret restaurant that was very traditional (the view was amazing), and then to find cell phones. We visited almost every Soft Bank in Nagasaki but none of them had the phones we needed in stock. Eventually, we managed to place an order at Sumiyoshi’s Soft Bank and we should be able to get the phone this weekend or on Monday.
This is an ad I saw at the Sumiyoshi Soft Bank…thought it was funny
The dog is the Soft Bank mascot.
