Wow, I can’t believe I haven’t updated in a month. I guess it’s time to talk about what’s new. I started my 5th year at UWEC and am all moved back into Chancellor’s. I’ve been pretty sick and am just getting over it so I haven’t really felt like writing (nor have I had much to say). I did do another guitar cover and song translation, but I feel like I post those quite a bit, so I held off.
Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of freelance computer repair and it’s doing wonders for my spare money. I haven’t had to worry about money for quite a while thanks to all of the customers I’ve been getting. If I could keep getting customers like I am that would be great.
When moving I started looking for ways to reduce clutter. I try to keep clutter to a minimum as it is, but I felt like some things could still be fixed. I bought a drawer organizer for my desk drawers. I also bought an index card box to store all of my kanji flash cards. I made a label for it and printed that off at work. Here’s the finished project.
The label reads: “Kanji Card Box”
All of my kanji cards fit right in there! I could probably fit about 50 to 100 more… Although, lately I’ve been doing electronic flash cards on my computer. I think it really helps more if I write the kanji myself, though.
Lastly, here’s that guitar cover. It’s “Is This It?” by The Strokes, one of my favorites:
I’ll post the song translation some other time.
